I had a great experience at this school! The teachers are very helpful in terms of teaching/learning. I do wish that they would let students/faculty establish more clubs/sports, but I feel like everyone receives a fair chance at this school. While the school has plenty of AP courses to offer, they could add a few to give the overachieving student a chance to learn more. I was a part of many clubs/sports at this school and i'm currently in Grad School. I give Lake Howell High 5 stars!
I have to come here every single day and I don't appreciate it. I can't go to the bathroom without something going wrong, whether it be a nasty drawing on the bathroom stall, a broken toilet, or a pair of panties left on the toilet seat reaking of death with big old Japanese flag blood stain on them. The text books belong back in the 1940s along with the teachers. THIS SCHOOL SHOULD BE DESTROYED not that it would kill the massive Roach problem this establishment also has to offer.

All the sports teams are very terrable and half the kids on the teams are doping and using preformance inhanceing drugs.
My daughter goes to Lake Howell and loves it. It is an "A" rated academic school with Honors and AP classes available. Unfortunately, in Seminole County only one high school has IB programs and for political reasons it was moved to Seminole High School. The sports programs have great facilities with an artificial turf stadium and brand new outdoor swimming facility built in recent years from an anonymous donation. My daughter participates in girls lacrosse and weightlifting and loves the coaches and teams. Also these are 2 sports (not clubs) that are not readily available to female students at every Florida high school. As for the previous comment about the band, my daughter is also a band member. The Lake Howell "Silver Regiment" Marching Band has competed in the FMBC State Finals in 4A in Tampa for the past 2 years. Placing in top 3 in that division both years. These kids are extremely dedicated and have an outstanding band director. A recent Snap raise campaign was launched to raise donations to upgrade band equipment. Over $20,000 was raised through strictly family and friend donations with nearly 100% participation in those donations. Only proving how well it is supported by the students family's.
