Was involved in a minor accident and J Rojas responded. He gave the involved parties "driver exchange" forms stating he didn't have time to complete the police report on the spot. Instead, he gave us cards with information on how to download the report in a week. I logged in today, and the company is asking for money for me to download the police report of the accident I was involved in. What a frickin racket. Can you imagine? Lazy police and money hungry police departments reinforcing stereotypes. If you're involved in an accident, demand a report on the spot or you'll need to fork over $10. It is not unreasonable for reports to be free for involved parties.
Was given a citation from a red light camera for turning right on a light as it was changing from yellow to red. I tried to contact them to explain as any sane person seeing the video would say that I didn't do anything wrong. No response. The citation basically said that if I tried to dispute it, I would be swamped with legal fees. Basically, don't bother because we will make you regret trying to contest it. This was obviously just a way to get money. Like I said, any reasonable person seeing the video would say that I happened to enter the intersection at the wrong moment but instead they issue a ticket because getting money from law abiding citizens is more important that actually keeping people safe from real threats. PS I friends whose cars have been broken into and the cops shrugs it off and say they can't do anything, but by all means, let's go after people who turn right at a red light as it is changing. Thanks for stealing my car insurance payment for the next 3 months jerks.
Upon my arrival at the station I was greeted with a smile and a friendly greeting. I was directed to the records dept. and then was given a friendly hello and "may I help you." I found all the people I came in contact with were very professional and at the same time friendly. I have read over some of the reviews and as the saying goes: you can not please all the people all the time but keep trying. It did not cost me any money and the entire process of obtaining the accident report took all of ten mins.
They keep you safe so say thank you!
Thank you all for a job well done.
Was embarrassed lunchtime at trader joes because it was 66 degrees out and abusive woman police, in front of entire store, told me too hot to leave dog in car for 15 minutes. I love my dog more then people and would never leave her in any uncomfortable position. Raining out no chance of sun no wonder police have such a bad reputation. No common sense abuse authority, will never return to winter park.
