This store is a treasure in many ways! Today, they saved my daughter about $600. She is a college student with a very old car. She called yesterday to tell me a hinge on her rear hatch window had broken and the window was just hanging there. I was able to duct tape the window so it wouldn't fall off but couldn't see a way to fix it. My Miller's hero was Lee. I described the situation and asked him if he had any ideas on how to fix it. He and I walked across the street to where my daughter's car was parked. He looked at the hinge and said, "I have a solution". He retrieved some parts and tools and proceeded to crawl into the back of a hot car, and after twenty minutes he had fixed the hinge. My daughter arrived and couldn't believe it. What a kind person Lee is and kudos to Millers for employing such knowledgeable and caring employees. Total cost $.37.
Shady business. Charged 65 bucks for a tarp and would not allow me to return it. Not even opened. They claimed there were signs all over which there weren't. Way to take advantage of people during a time of need.
I love going here. I am a long time customer. I am hardware challenged and when I have had to go in I can find someone right away who doesn't just point me in the direction I need to go but who will actually walk over and assist me to the end. They make a point of remembering you and greeting you warmly when you come in.
Winter Park
During the hurricane prep for Irma they were the only place I could find generators. They had a nice orderly line to pay inside and one outside to pick up. I was also easily able to fill up the propane tank for the grill. I saw lots of people getting sandbags, tarps, tape, and all other manner of hurricane supplies. Waiting in long lines is no fun but they did their best to make the process as seamless as possible. I like to support local family owned businesses and this is a great one. They did a wonderful job of keeping the supplies coming during this trying time. I look forward to visiting again when the storm is behind us.
Carol & Bob exemplify great customer service. Too many things that they did to help us. We bought a Green Egg & their help, explanations terrific. My new favorite family owned business!!! Better than the chains so support this business!
